PA12

Product Description:

POLYCIMA-PA12 (Chinese name: polydodecanolactam, also known as Nylon 12) is a semicrystalline to crystalline thermoplastic material derived from butadiene. It belongs to the polyamide family. Its crystal structure differs from that of PA11, but its properties are similar. It has a lower melting point and density than PA6 and PA66, and offers low moisture absorption with retained insulation capability, excellent electrical insulation, impact resistance, and chemical stability.

Product Application:

It is specifically used as the outer insulating protective layer for copper or aluminum busbars in charging piles. As a replacement for imported materials, it primarily takes advantage of its excellent electrical insulation, low moisture absorption, and chemical resistance to form a reliable protective layer over copper/aluminum busbars. This ensures non-conductivity under high voltage and high current, and provides resistance to heat, humidity, and chemical corrosion.
